This website is a menu board with two request forms, one for tea parties and one for custom cakes. It has no accounts and no analytics or tracking of its own, and it does not set cookies.

What this website collects

Only what you choose to send us through the tea party and custom cake request forms, described below. There is nowhere on this site to enter payment details, and the site’s own pages don’t run any analytics, advertising or tracking code. The fonts and photos are served from this website itself, not from outside services.

The tea party request form

If you send a tea party request, the form collects your name, your phone number, your email address (optional), the date, seating time and party size you choose, the number of gluten-free guests, and any notes you add. A request is not a booking yet: we use these details only to review your request, confirm it with you and manage your reservation.

The custom cake request form

If you send a custom cake request, the form collects your name, your phone number, your email address (optional), the date you need the cake, how many people it should serve, the flavor, your cake details and special requests, and an inspiration photo if you choose to add one. A request is not an order: we use these details only to review your request, contact you about your cake and send you our answer. Your request is emailed to the bakery and saved in our database so we can reply to it; it is deleted automatically after 120 days. An inspiration photo is kept only while your request is open: it is deleted as soon as we accept or decline the request, and never kept longer than 30 days. A copy also stays in the email the bakery received.

Emails about your request

When you send a request, its details are emailed to Bakehouse & Co. so we can review it. If you give us your email address, we may also email you about that request, for example to let you know whether we can host it or make your cake, to suggest changes, or to go over the details. We don’t add you to a mailing list and we don’t send marketing emails.

Calls and texts

Both forms have a required consent box. If you check it, you agree that we may call or text you about your request. For tea parties, some of those calls are placed by an automated voice assistant that phones the number you gave to go over the details of your reservation with you and note any changes. Calls and texts about cake requests come from us, not an automated assistant.

Who handles it for us

Your request is stored and handled by service providers that run the forms for us: a database hosted through Vercel (stores the request), Resend (sends the emails, including cake requests), Retell (places the automated calls) and Upstash (schedules them for the right time of day). To stop repeat requests, the site briefly keeps a count of requests per phone number, which expires after a day. Each handles your information under its own privacy policy, and none of them may use it for anything else.

Our hosting provider

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel may log standard technical information when your browser asks for a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Vercel handles that information under its own privacy notice.

The map on our home page

The Visit section of the home page shows an embedded Google Map. When that part of the page loads, your browser connects directly to Google, which receives standard technical information such as your IP address and the page you’re on. Google runs the map under its own privacy policy. The Directions buttons also open Google Maps.

Links to other companies

Some buttons take you to websites run by other companies. Once you’re there, their privacy policies apply, not this one:

• Order online opens our ordering page on Toast. Anything you enter there, such as your order, name or payment details, goes to Toast, not to this website.
• Facebook and Instagram links open our pages on those sites, which are run by Meta (Facebook privacy policy, Instagram privacy policy).
• Call buttons open your phone’s dialer. This website doesn’t record the call or your number.

We don’t sell personal data

We don’t sell, rent or trade anyone’s personal information.
